Chelsea’s will play newly crowned premier league champions Leicester City on the last day of 2015-16 premier league season and they will be providing guard of honor for the newly elect champions. There is not much at stake for either side but a good showing in the season finale will only boost the confidence of both sides.

Chelsea has turned their season around after absolute terrible start to the 2015-16 campaign. Since they fired Mourinho and Guus Hiddink took charge they only lost one game and that was against Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League. On Wednesday night they take on PSG in a bid to overturn the deficit.

Chelsea are not out of the tie yet although they lost 2-1 in Paris. All they need is to win the game by 1-0 to qualify for quarter finals. While impressive run of results in premier leauge has elevated them into the top half of the table where a good ending to the season might get them european place.

Chelsea next four games are of huge importance starting with league game against Newcastle which will be followed by back to back cup games in Champions League and FA Cup and Chelsea will finish February with the away game against Southampton. Chelsea needs to turn things around now as they have been overpowered by team over and over again this season. They are now facing the prospect of dropping down in the relegation zone if they drop points in next couple of matches. Chelsea will play Sunderland next week on 19th December, Watford on 26th December which will be followed by a visit to Manchester United on monday, 28th December 2015.
Since Jose Mourinho was sacked back in december, Chelsea are unbeaten under new manager Guus Hiddink but they are not consistent as the games they should be winning they end up drawing which is hurting their chances to get back in the top half of the table. Eden Hazard injury is not helping either as Chelsea missing his creative spark in final third.
